Installation of the Hybrispot platform (HS12) at the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers for the detection of antibiotic resistance markers in water samples.
In September 2021, Makol OCR SA installed at the Costa Rican Institute of Aqueducts and Sewers the Hybrispot (HS12) platform, which is used for the detection of antibiotic resistance markers in water samples. This allows research on this issue, promoting initiatives for the reduction of antimicrobial resistance, evaluation of the effects of control measures and reduction of the spread of these microorganisms; thus improving the national surveillance system.
